Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport

    Start your Bhutan journey with a friendly greeting at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport. Take a leisurely journey to Phuentsholing, the vibrant border town and entry point to Bhutan from India. Located in the Himalayan foothills, this town is well-known for its distinctive blend of cultures. Check-in to the hotel; free to unwind in the evening.

     

    Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

  • Day 2: Travel from Phuentsholing to Thimphu

    After breakfast, finish the immigration process and head to Bhutan's tranquil capital, Thimphu. The trip offers breathtaking views of forested areas and river basins. Visit Tashichho Dzong, an architectural wonder that houses Bhutan's monastic body and royal offices, in the evening.

  • Day 3: Full-Day Sightseeing in Thimphu

    Discover Bhutan's cultural core today: Buddha Dordenma (Kuensel Phodrang) offers expansive city views; the National Memorial Chorten is a spiritual monument; the Folk Heritage Museum showcases traditional Bhutanese culture; Changangkha Monastery is an old hilltop monastery; Sangaygang Viewpoint; and Takin Preserve Center is home to Bhutan's national animal.

  • Day 4: Thimphu to Punakha via Dochula Pass

    Travel to Punakha/Wangdue by car, across the famous Dochula Pass (3,150 m), which offers stunning views of the Himalayas and 108 memorial chortens. See the beautiful Punakha Dzong, which was formerly the capital of Bhutan and is today the Je Khenpo's winter residence. Discover the renowned Temple of Fertility, Chimi Lhakhang, which is devoted to Lama Drukpa Kunley, later.

  • Day 5: Visit Gangtey-Phobjikha Valley

    Take a full-day trip to the breathtaking The glacial Phobjikha Valley is renowned for both its unspoiled beauty and the uncommon Black-Necked Crane's winter home. One of the most significant monasteries in Bhutan is Gangtey Monastery.

  • Day 6: Nature & Heritage Drive from Punakha to Paro

    Travel to Paro Valley after breakfast, making a stop at Lamperi Royal Botanical Park, which is renowned for Bhutan's abundant biodiversity. After arriving in Paro, check into your hotel and visit the National Museum Ta Dzong and the famous stronghold Rinpung Dzong. You can unwind or visit nearby markets in the evening.

  • Day 7: Local Sightseeing in Paro

    Explore the city's historical gems: Kyichu Lhakhang is one of Bhutan's oldest temples, while Drukgyel Dzong is a famous victory castle. leisure time to take in the serene surroundings of Paro.

  • Day 8: Visit the highest motorable road in Bhutan, Chele La Pass

    After breakfast, head to Bhutan's highest motorable route, Chele La Pass (3,810 m), which offers breathtaking views of virgin forests and snow-capped peaks. Go back to Paro and spend the remainder of the day unwinding.

  • Day 9: Scenic Return Drive from Paro to Phuentsholing

    Drive back to Phuentsholing after breakfast, taking in the shifting scenery from subtropical plains to alpine slopes. Evening hotel check-in is free for leisure or shopping.

  • Day 10: Phuentsholing – Departure to NJP / Bagdogra
