Tour Description

Set out on an enthralling six-day adventure around Sri Lanka, seamlessly combining leisure, nature, and culture. After being greeted warmly at the airport, your journey starts with a beautiful drive to Kandy, where you can stop to see the kind giants at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. In Kandy, enjoy a cultural show (if time allowed) and an overnight stay. On the second day, you will travel to the picturesque hill town of Nuwara Eliya for a full day. There, you will see the revered Hanuman Temple, the magnificent Ramboda Falls, Gregory Lake, a tea factory tour, and the fabled Seetha Amman Temple.

On day three, after viewing the famed Temple of the Tooth Relic and a city tour of Kandy, head to the golden coasts of Bentota with a stop at a fragrant spice farm along way. Before the thrills of day four, which include a visit to a turtle hatchery, a tranquil Madu River safari, and optional water sports, unwind on the beach. Discover the holy Pancha Muga Anjaneya Temple, take a city tour, see the Gangarama Temple and Colombo Museum, shop, relax at Galle Face Green, and partake in optional nightlife activities on day five in the energetic capital, Colombo.   • Day 1 : Welcome to Sri Lanka – Airport to Kandy

    Bandaranaike International Airport arrival

    Your local agent will greet you warmly at the airport. After meeting your driver/guide, you will start your journey through Sri Lanka.

    On the way Stop: Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawala See the well-known Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage en route to Kandy. The largest captive elephant herd in the world is housed in this 24-acre sanctuary in Rabukkana. Established in 1975, it provides a remarkable chance to watch infant elephants being bottle-fed or the herd taking a river bath.

    Reaching Kandy

    After checking into your accommodation, relax. In the evening, if time permits, take in a vibrant cultural dance performance that features traditional Kandyan drums and costumes.
