After disembarking from the aircraft you will be met by our Customer Service Manager who will lead you to clear customs and immigration formalities and proceed to the arrivals lounge. You will be assisted to your transfer vehicles. Transfer by road to your hotel.

Breakfast at your lodge. Drive to Lake Manyara National Park whose inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree climbing lions, flamingos and other variety of birdlife. Lunch at your lodge. Afternoon short game drive in Lake Manyara National Park.

It is difficult to imagine a more spectacular setting for Lake Manyara Serena Lodge – on the edge of the Mto Wa Mbu escarpment, overlooking the Great Rift Valley and the stunning Manyara soda lake. Tree climbing lions are but one lure. The extraordinary birdlife has made this place world-renowned among ornithologists, who come to observe the masses of pink flamingoes and great birds of prey. The abundant birdlife inspired the design of this lodge-swooping curves are complemented by soft, geometric patterns; stylish murals depict bird migration patterns.

Breakfast at your lodge. Drive to Serengeti National Park. The vast grasslands of the renowned Serengeti National Park provide what many consider to be the quintessential African game viewing experience. Meaning ‘endless plains’ in the language of the Maasai, this land of immense open spaces is home to literally millions of large herbivores, as well as the accompanying carnivores. The Serengeti is renowned for having the largest concentration of migratory animals in the world, and is also famous for its large lion population. The Serengeti National Park forms part of a huge conservation area, encompassing the adjacent Ngorongoro Conservation Area, as well as the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. Lunch at your camp. Afternoon game drive.

Conveniently situated in the centre of Serengeti National Park’s Western Corridor, Lahia Tented Camps offers easy access to the area’s main attractions including the Maasai kopjes, the Olduvai Gorge Museum, the Seromera Valley and the Grumeti River.

Depending on your preference, there are a couple of options with regards to how your day is structured.

One option is to break camp early and head out with a picnic breakfast returning to camp in time for lunch. Alternatively, you can eat breakfast in camp and head out with picnic lunch returning in the mid afternoon. Game drive will be on private basis. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

After breakfast drive via Olduvai Gorge, site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. Their findings include some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains. After a guided tour of the site, continue through the Ngorongoro Highlands to your lodge situated on the rim of the crater. The crater covers over 102 square miles (250 square kilometres) of land and is the home of the rare black rhino, prides of lion, elephant, cheetah and great herds of buffalo, antelope and wildebeest. Lunch at your lodge. Afternoon spent at leisure.

Depart from the lodge after breakfast and drive to the crater rim. You will descend 600m (0ver 2000 feet) to the floor of the crater for a full day crater tour with picnic lunch boxes. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkey and elephant, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. Return at sunset for dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Breakfast at your camp. Drive back to Arusha Town. Lunch at a restaurant in Arusha. Afternoon transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your home bound flight.
