After breakfast, start your fascinating journey to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. Enjoy a relaxing pause and take in the tumbling roadside waterfalls at Gedu Town along the way.

 See the sacred meeting point of the Pachu and Wangchu rivers at Chuzom, which is protected by three different types of stupas—Nepali, Tibetan, and Bhutanese—that were constructed to fend off bad luck.

After checking into your hotel, head into the heart of Thimphu for some local shopping and people-watching after a calm stroll from the Clock Tower Square.

Start your day with a visit to the magnificent Buddha Dordenma (Buddha Point), offering panoramic views of the valley below.

Explore Bhutan’s rich heritage at the Royal Textile Academy, Folk Heritage Museum, and the lively Handicrafts Market – a great place to pick up authentic souvenirs.

Later, take in the magnificent architecture of the Tashichho Dzong (outside view), a fortification that houses government ministries and the king's office.

 Visit the Takin Reserve, which is home to Bhutan's national animal, as well. Finish the day at Sangaygang Viewpoint, which offers expansive views of the Thimphu Valley and fluttering prayer flags.

After breakfast, travel to Punakha, a tranquil river and rice field valley. A halt at Dochula Pass (3,100 meters) on your route offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas and the famous 108 chortens, which were constructed in remembrance of Bhutanese soldiers.

Discover the stunning Punakha Dzong in Punakha, which is one of Bhutan's most picturesque fortifications and is located at the meeting point of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers.

 Enjoy an exciting river rafting adventure (extra charge) or take a stroll across the Suspension Bridge, which is decorated with prayer flags.

Drive through quaint villages and along the meandering river valleys to the ethereal Paro Valley after breakfast.

 Explore the National Museum (Ta Dzong) in Paro then take a leisurely walk downhill to the historic Rinpung Dzong, a wonder of Bhutanese history and architecture.

Take breathtaking pictures from the Paro Airport Viewpoint, which is frequently regarded as one of the world's most picturesque airports.

The spiritual journey to the revered Tiger's Nest Monastery, which is situated on a precipitous cliff 3,120 meters above sea level, is the highlight of today. Guru Rinpoche is said to have flown here to meditate on the back of a tigress.

 Surreal scenery and a profoundly spiritual experience await you at the end of the moderate 5-hour round-trip climb (or an optional pony ride until halfway).

 As an alternative, visitors may choose to take a picturesque drive to Bhutan's highest motorable road, Chele La Pass (extra charge).
