Tarangire, known for its ancient baobab trees and big elephant herds, provides an exciting introduction to Tanzania's wildlife. Enjoy an afternoon game drive over the savannah, where you may see lions, zebras, wildebeest, and other wildlife. In the evening, relax in Lake Burunge Tented Camp, surrounded by nature's beauty.

After breakfast, go to Karatu (about 120 km), stopping for an excellent game drive at Lake Manyara National Park. This gorgeous park is recognized for its lush forests, flamingo-filled lake, and the opportunity to see the area's famous tree-climbing lions. Continue to Karatu and check into Ngorongoro Farm House.

Today, travel through the breathtaking Ngorongoro Highlands and visit the interesting Olduvai Gorge Museum, a significant archeological site that depicts humanity's early past. Continue to the wide Serengeti plains (about 165 kilometers). In the afternoon, embark on your first Serengeti game drive, where lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and numerous wildebeest roam free. Spend the night in the Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp, which provides a true safari experience.

A full day dedicated to exploring Serengeti National Park. Begin your early wildlife drive at sunrise, when predators are most active. After a picnic or camp lunch, go out again in the afternoon to see the wonderful range of species on the plains. Return to your tented camp in the evening, under the stars.

After breakfast, drive back to Ngorongoro (about 165 kilometers). With your picnic lunch in hand, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known as the "Eighth Wonder of the World," this natural sanctuary is home to a staggering number of creatures, including the endangered black rhino. Later, return to Ngorongoro Farm House for a relaxing evening.
