Today is yours to explore or just relax. You may choose to take a full-day optional journey to Alexandria, Egypt's Mediterranean jewel. Explore the fascinating Catacombs, see the Qaitbay Citadel from the outside, and marvel at the modern Library of Alexandria, which pays homage to the ancient world's largest knowledge hub.

Return to Cairo in the evening for an overnight stay.
